Summary: There were huge bugs that came out of nowhere on the wall and floors. Right into the bathroom when I was in the shower my husband killed it we were so startled. We were staying there because we had just had our baby and she is in the hospital still so we wanted to stay close by.

Summary: It was an older hotel as far as the carpet, the walls, the tub…the workers were wonderful. Things could have been a little more updated, but overall GREAT for the price.

Summary: This hotel offered a comfortable bed and a great location with an easy and safe walk to the Metro Red line. There were several restaurants and Whole Foods within walking distance. This hotel had quick and excellent service but our room was lacking. The A/C wasn't working when we first entered the room but with quick service they were able to fix it and we didn't have any other issues with that. There was no refrigerator (not listed on hotels.com but listed on the Hotel Silver Springs website) and no lamp by the bed making it very difficult to read in bed. On our last morning the lights and outlets weren't working but we still had A/C and hot water, we didn't resolve this since we left early and managed with our cellphone flashlights. The rooms and hallways could use a new paint job and some updating.

Summary: Staff was nice enough. We were only there for one night and got back late. We thought we turned on the AC and went to sleep. Woke up and it was boiling. I mentioned it at checkout and his response was “well if you would have called we would have come”. Hotel was clean but definitely needs a total revamp. Lots is deteriorating and falling apart. Also smelled like a wet dog throughout the entire hotel.

Summary: My friend and I stayed here for one night while we went to a show at The Fillmore. It was a really easy and nice commute but parking at the hotel was expensive and the rooms were dated. Our bathroom sink also sprayed everywhere and the elevator REEKED of weed. If I wanted to stay somewhere dingy and cheaper, I would’ve stayed at Motel 6… Abosolutly NOT worth the price…

Summary: The listing claims they offer Valet Service, but they don't. The parking garage is very tight. The elevator from the garage level doesn't work, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to the front desk. The heat didn't work - room was freezing when we got there. Maintenance came and worked on it, got it working but turned it up to 80 degrees. Two phones in the suite, but neither one of them worked so when we needed something we had to go downstairs. They first didn't write the room number of then key pocket and I had to go back and ask for it. Restaurant has only a few items. On the plus side, it's close to the Fillmore, which is why we stayed there. Also, it's within walking distance to several restaurants.
